Sleepy Hollow Shipping & Delivery Policy
All orders are subject to product availability. If an item is not in stock at the time you place your order, we will notify you and refund you the total amount of your order, using the original method of payment.
Sleepy Hollow Children’s Furniture offer free shipping on orders over $75.00
Shipping to all address in Canada is offered by courier. For items that can be shipped by courier the shipping rate will be $15.00. You will be notified if there are extra charges due to large items or to remote areas. For furniture orders, please see delivery policy (below) for furniture orders.
Please note we will ship in-stock orders within 1 – 2 business days. If you need to cancel your order we must receive notification within 2 hours of placing your order. Orders can not be cancelled once they have been shipped. To cancel an order, please call immediately at 613-736-6739. You will receive an email notifying you that your order has been cancelled.
Shipping time is 3 – 5 business days. You will be notified if there will be any delay. Orders will be shipped complete. For multiple item orders, you can request that items be shipped as they become available, however shipping charges will apply to each shipment.

Items offered on our website are only available for delivery to addresses within an approximate 2 hour radius of our location. Any shipments outside of this area may be available, please contact us a [email protected], or call 613-736-6739 for more information.
An estimated delivery time will be provided to you once your order is placed. Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of order. Delivery times are to be used as a guide only and are subject to the acceptance and approval of your order. Delivery times are based on approximate dates provided by the manufacturer.
If not in stock, all furniture is ordered from the manufacturer. Production times varies by manufacturer. On average:
College Woodwork 6 – 8 weeks
Dutailier 8 weeks
Natart 6 – 12 weeks
Ideal 2 – 4 weeks
Beaudoin 4 weeks
Night and Day Furniture 1 – 4 weeks
Maxtrix 6 – 8 weeks
Max and Lily 6 – 8 weeks
Sleepy Hollow has no control over manufacturer production delays, carrier shipping delays, or backorders. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, we make every effort to process your order within 2 business days. Business day mean Monday to Friday, except holidays. Date of delivery may vary due to carrier shipping practices, delivery location, method of delivery, and the items ordered. Products may also be delivered in separate shipments.
Some manufacturers do have Quick Ship items, which you can view on the Quick Ship page.
All furniture items arrive fully assembled, unless otherwise noted, with the exception of cribs which will need to be set up. If you are within the 2 hour radius of our location, delivery includes our delivery people taking the item(s) to the Nursery. Set up is available at an additional charge, please call or email for details.
You can provide special delivery instructions in the NOTES section on the check-out page of our website. You will be contacted if these instructions cannot be met.
Shipping & Delivery Costs
Sleepy Hollow will deliver for a flat fee of $100/order in the Ottawa area and within a 2 hour radius of our location. Delivery can be arranged outside of this area. Please call 613-736-6739, or email [email protected] for more information.
Shipping costs are based on the weight of your order and the delivery method. To find out how much your order will cost to ship, please contact us at by phone at (613) 736-6739 or by email [email protected] and we will provide you with rate(s) from area shipping providers.
Additional shipping charges may apply to remote areas or for large or heavy items. You will be notified if any additional charges will apply.
Sales tax is charged according to the province or territory to which the item is shipped.
Damaged Items in Transport
If there is any damage to the packaging on delivery, please sign for the item as damaged and contact us immediately at [email protected] with details of the product and the defect, and you will be advised how to proceed. Please include your name, invoice or receipt number, a photo and description of the defect. A photo of the damaged box or packaging is also recommended if possible.
